SOLAR LIGHTING PROJECT QUESTIONNAIRE
Below is a list of questions designed to help us understand the needs of your project. These details are essential to ensure
correct solar lightning column sizing.
Where is the project located (country, city)?
i Essential to estimate the available solar power production.
What surface area (give length and width) do you need to illuminate? (Provide a drawing if possible).
i Essential to perform a brightness study and to validate the lighting power.
Length: m Width: m Other:
Is there a minimum demanded lighting level and uniformity?
i If not specified, we will recommend a level corresponding to the standard for your application.
Average lighting: lux Uniformity:
Do you have a minimum required light height? m
Do you have a minimum/maximum required centre to centre distance (distance between two poles)? m
What is your application, what do you need to illuminate? (Street, car park, bus stop, park, square, other, etc.): 133
i Gives an indication of the recommended operating mode.
Would proximity detection operation be suitable?
i Considering that we can maintain a dimmed power level to ensure delimitation (e.g.: 5/10%). Ideal for car parks, residential
areas and pedestrian pathways. This allows for substantial power savings.
If permanent mode is required, can we propose dimming over a period?
i Give the time period during which power can be reduced. Specify the % power reduction (e.g.: 10%, ensures delimitation). Note
that you can add a proximity detection mode during the dimmed period.
Is there a specific required location for accessories (batteries + regulator): top of pole, base of pole?
