The LaCoste shopping center's parking lot, in Narbonne (11 - France), was equipped with thirteen autonomous solar powered lightings Novéa Énergies. These are thirteen solar-powered street lights that have been installed throughout the parking lot of the commercial activity area LaCoste in Narbonne (11 - France). Three models have been chosen to illuminate this 120-space car park, namely: 6 COMBI TOP 3 with a 160 Wp solar panel, a TEKK S luminaire and a 704 Wh battery 6 COMBI TOP 5 equipped with a 260 Wp solar panel, a 1,064 Wh battery, and a TEKK S luminaire, including 5 lamp posts with a double stick 1 COMBI TOP 6 with a 520 Wp solar panel, two 1,064 Wh batteries, and a double stick with TEKK S lighting These thirteen solar street lights provide quality lighting that ensures the comfort and safety of users of the LaCoste shopping center parking lot in Narbonne (11 - France). The luminaires are lit every day in full power during the four hours following dusk and the two hours preceding dawn, the rest of the night, the luminaires go into dimming mode at 15% to ensure the marking of the parking during the hours when attendance is limited. This drop in lighting intensity when the need is less limits the sizing of the battery and the solar panel, extending the life of the components of the lamp post (battery and LED module) and are less solicited. The battery is equipped with Endurance + technology, developed by Novéa Énergies in partnership with the Atomic Energy Center, which offers the best service life of the market thanks to its Lithium LifePO4 cells and its unique management of energy flows. TEKK S luminaires are designed in aluminum foundry, which gives them robustness in order to last over time. The flat tempered glass limits the clogging and thus not to lose in quality of lighting. The parking lot of the ZAC LaCoste in Narbonne has two PRM (for people with reduced mobility) parking zones, which requires precise lighting. The average illumination on these zones therefore respects 20 average lux imposed by the regulation with a uniformity of 0.4. The average illumination on the entire parking lot reaches 15 average lux. The autonomous lighting solution was the most suitable for this car park, because unlike the autonomous solution that only needs a concrete block for its integration, heavy civil engineering work would have been necessary to install lighting fixtures in traditional wired lighting. Parking spaces should have been trivialized for the realization of these works, which proves problematic for a commercial activity area. Public solar street lights are an alternative to fossil and polluting energy consumption, thus limiting environmental impacts. In addition, no electric subscription to a supplier of energy is necessary for the operation of these autonomous street lights.
