In Gabon, the autonomous streetlamps of Novéa Energies daily light the population

Our solar lampposts COMBI TOP 3 TEKK S were installed about 2 years ago, at different spots of the country. They light uniformly all over the year and for different applications. Here an overview of their uses.

Strategic plan emerging Gabon

Since few years, Gabon aims to develop a sustainable electricity offer, diversified and accessible to everyone. Solar lighting is therefore a pertinent alternative. Besides being performant, the autonomous streetlamps are simple to install because they do not need cabling, and have very low operating costs, decreasing consequently the energy expenses. So, the country analysed the different options and chose autonomous solutions of Novéa Energies, with the installation of more than 5000 COMBI TOP 3 through the country.

To meet users’ needs, these lampposts are programmed to light 5 hours after dusk, and then to keep lighting at 50% of the power until dawn.

Applications for main road

Autonomous streetlamps became as relevant as traditional on-grid solution, they offer enjoyable colour temperature (4000K) and high-performance.

For large urban roads, placed face to face, our solar lampposts enable to secure the area by lighting the road and the access too. Pedestrians are more visible, and the space sharing with cars is serene.

Applications for remote areas

The securing is always at the heart of lighting preoccupations, whatever the area is. In this case, we make sure of lighting paths and most isolated spots. Our autonomous lampposts offer various customisations: colour, luminaire, bracket… to vanish in environment and daily light without disturbing the landscape.

The lighting stakes in villages are societal and economic. Lighting an area enables population to regain the places. Population can exchange, play and even study! Storekeepers can benefit from this dynamic and extend their economic activity time, for everyone enjoyment.
