As part of the renovation project in the Lore Landa neighbourhood, the municipality of Bidart (France) has decided to replace its ageing lampposts with a complete 100% solar-powered solution for its public lighting: lanes, dead ends, road and pedestrians paths are now safer thanks to a range of adapted solar systems. Products tailord to specific street lighting applications Lanes 14 Combi Top 3 have been installed in 2 streets of the neighbourhood. A Multi Top 5 solar unit is also used to power a streetlight and a CIKA bollard (from the Ragni catalogue) located in a shadier area. The units are programmed to provide light at full power from dusk to 11pm and from 6:30 am until dawn. The departmental road and the roundabout The same lighting scenario as the one chosen for the lane was also defined for the 10 street lights that provide safety on the road and the roundabout: The Combi Top 5 is not only dedicated to lighting the roads, but also provides visibility for passers-by crossing pedestrian crossing at night. The dead-ends 16 Combi Top 1 lights provide security in residential dead-ends with a moderate lighting programme tha meets the needs of local residents: the lighting is gradually dimmed throughout the evening before switching off completely between 11pm and dawn, to maintain a non-intrusive lighting atmosphere. The Combi Top 1, which is more compact than the other models of the range, thanks in particular to its bracketless luminaire is perfect for this type of application. Pedestrians paths Our Multi Top solution has been chosen to light the shady pedestrian path located at the heart of the residential area: The 2 solar units power 2 luminaires and 14 CIKA bollards equipped with a presence detector, providing lighting adapted to the traffic on the path while making it safer for pedestrians to come and go. Various solution, but a unique lighting fleet As part of the renovation project of this part of Bidart, a detailed study accompanied by a technical offer enabled us to determine the best solar lighting solution for each area, while respecting the needs and reality of the site. In addition, each streetlight is equipped with a NOVCOM Z communicating node, enabling the municipality to manage its lighting fleet thanks to the NOVEA LINK Bluetooth® app. Finally, whatever the application, our wide collection of luminaires and brackets has harmonised all the units in the neighbourhood, with Griff S luminaires and the timeless RAL 2900, for a product that reflects the municipality of Bidart.
