National Highway No. 4 (RN4), east of Burkina Faso, has been totally rehabilitated. The users daily suffered the state of deterioration of this infrastructure, it is today a distant memory. They can also take this route at any time, day or night, thanks to Novéa Énergies lampposts. RN4 is a section of the West African Monetary Union (UEMOA) Community Road, named CU2a, which is one of the interconnection corridors of Burkina Faso with countries without a seafront. The rehabilitation and reinforcement of the RN4, spread over 34 km, on the section between Koupela and Gounghin, on the road linking Ouagadougou to Niger, make it possible to facilitate the accessibility of the region and increase trade with neighboring countries. The new infrastructure, which includes a double two-lane main road separated by a median strip and two bike lanes, is lit by Novéa solar street lights. This lighting allows the use of this way safely at night. Long of several tens of kilometers, the RN4 is equipped with 106 COMBI TOP 3 and 142 COMBI TOP 5 double brackets which ensure the comfort and the safety of the users. The installation therefore comprises 106 COMBI TOP 3 sets with a seven meters light height, equipped with a TEKK S luminaire, and equipped with a 160 Wp solar panel and a 704 Wh battery, and 142 COMBI TOP 5 street lights with a seven meters light height, equipped with TEKK S luminaires in double bracket, and equipped with a solar panel of 260 Wc and a battery of 1 408 Wh. All these light points light up at dusk and light up in full power for five hours. The rest of the night, when the attendance is less, the marking of the road is ensured thanks to a lighting at 40% of the full power. This dimming mode, which switches on when the need is limited, provides adequate lighting and extends the life of the lamppost components, such as the battery and the luminaire.
