Autonomous solar streetlights for residential areas

Limiting civil works, reduce the energy bill and avoid co-property charges represent the main advantages of solar lighting of residential areas.

Residential lighting must provide a comfortable, safe and non-intrusive environment. It is necessary to light all night long but not necessarily at full power during the middle of the night/off peak hour. And even more if there is no one !

What type of lighting for a solar streetlight in a housing estate ?

  • Recommended average lighting level from 7,5 to 10 lux
  • Colour temperature : 3000 K maximum for the best luminous efficiency. A temperature between 2200K and 2700K is also recommended for greater respect of biodiversity.

Case study

Light height: 5m

Lighting data: 15.5 W / 2598 lumens / 3000 K / ASY 26

Average lighting level: 10,5 lux / Uniformity: 0,42

Every project is unique ! We carry-out tailor-made lighting studies

Which programme ?

La programmation permet d’éclairer juste en adaptant le programme à l’usage et à la fréquentation de l’axe, mais aussi de limiter les nuisances lumineuses ainsi que le dimensionnement du candélabre, et donc l’usage des ressources primaires.

Programmation enables to light just the right way by adapting the programme to use and traffic of the lane, but also to limit light disturbances and the sizing of the streetlight, thus the use of primary resources.

Examples of programmes

The detection system is an efficient tool for lighting residential areas and providing safety for users. It can also be communicative thanks to our NOVMOOV option, which synchronises the lighting of a group of luminaires to form a light path that follows the progress of users.

The option that makes the difference

The NOVCOM Z module, designed by Novéa Energies is fixed to a Zhaga base placed on the luminaire or the solar panel. It enables to monitor the streetlight at the bottom of the mast via Bluethooth® and the NOVEA LINK application. It can also be used to add our communicating motion detection system NOVMOOV and, with additional equipment, remote management system of the streetlights with SEVⓔ CONNECT.
